In the process of language learning, is developing speaking ability more important than reading, listening, or writing skills?
I think speaking is crucial if your goal is real-world communication. You can memorize vocabulary and grammar, but until you start using it in conversation, it won’t stick. That’s why I joined english group classes online — speaking regularly with others helped me get over the fear of making mistakes and built my confidence much faster than just studying solo.
